Data collected
JobOS stores account identity, profile data, resumes, jobs, applications, notes, generated documents, billing metadata, support diagnostics, and consent records needed to operate the service.
Policy version 2026-10-04
JobOS is designed to keep sensitive job-search data visible to the user and redacted from operator workflows by default.
JobOS stores account identity, profile data, resumes, jobs, applications, notes, generated documents, billing metadata, support diagnostics, and consent records needed to operate the service.
Data is processed to provide the job-search workspace, secure accounts, generate requested documents, manage billing, provide support, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the workflow, processing may rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligations.
Personal data is accessible only to the user, authorized JobOS operators where needed for support or security, and configured processors such as hosting, email, billing, analytics, storage, and AI providers.
Exports, support bundles, observability events, and abuse records redact or hash sensitive content such as email addresses, message bodies, IP addresses, secrets, and raw resume text where possible.
Users can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and consent withdrawal where applicable. Use the legal or privacy contact listed in the Legal Notice.
Account settings include export redaction, email body storage, AI artifact retention, notification preferences, data export, and deletion preview controls.
JobOS keeps data only as long as needed for the service, security, billing, support, and legal obligations. Retention windows are documented in the operations readiness materials and should be finalized before public launch.
Provider locations depend on the infrastructure and AI providers enabled by the operator. Any production provider outside the EU should be reviewed for appropriate transfer safeguards before activation.
